Self evaluation and best practice in BCM standards

The BCI Benchmark is based on the Business Continuity Institute’s (BCI) Good Practice Guide (GPG) and other globally recognised standards including BS25999. Launched in 2002 and regularly updated to fully align with BS25999, this overarching methodology of best practice has been continuously developed by independent business continuity experts and is incomparable in its depth and range of guidance.

Benefits of taking part include:
  • Review of BCM and Disaster Recovery risks and capabilities for a major UK hospital (Primary Care Trust)

  • Permanent FREE access to full BCI Members

  • Low cost annual to BCI non-members

  • Anonymity

  • Ability to compare performance with peer groups (sector, scale etc)

  • Analysis of key areas provided in each edition of Continuity Magazine

  • Effective gap analysis and immediate online expert convergent advice

  • Graphs and reports produced immediately

  • Archived every 6 months and re-released so you can track improvements

The BCI Benchmark is produced collaboratively by INONI Limited and the BCI. It allows organisations to benchmark their BCM capability against evolving global standards and receive expert guidance to help rectify deficiencies. This gives the Benchmark unique advantages over comparable initiatives.
